MACY'S PRIVATE LABEL BRANDS

From 2018-2022, I worked on the Macy's Private Label design team at One Jeanswear Group, designing and developing denim for INC, Style & Co, Charter Club, Karen Scott, and Maison Jules.

In this role, I managed a team of two associate designers and was responsible for creating inspiring seasonal concept presentations catered to each brand, building proposals for new opportunities based on selling data and market trends, and developing product from concept to production to meet Macy's expectations.

I established a strong working relationship with Macy's design teams, and partnered closely with internal sales, production, tech, and PE teams as well as factories in China and Jordan on a daily basis to maintain a synergy that promoted consistent growth and high quality product execution from development to final production. I also piloted Macy's new Clo 3D style creation program for One Jeanswear Group, and trained the design team how to use Clo tools to determine fabric properties and develop 3D Cads.
