JESSICA SIMPSON GIRLS

As childrenswear designer for Jessica Simpson Girls at One Jeanswear Group from 2012-2018, I developed seasonal collections for toddler through tween girls from initial concept to production, while managing a team of 2 associate designers and 2 graphic designers. In addition to designing the collection, I was responsible for creating tech packs including construction details, spec sheets, and materials, fabric sourcing and development, graphic and trim development, proto fittings, CADs, and presenting final collections to Jessica Simpson and sales.

My creativity flourished exponentially in this role coming up with innovative ways to update bestselling collectible purse tees, girl tees, and animal pocket sweatshirts, as well as creating seasonal fashion items and designing exclusive capsules for each retailer every season. I collaborated with production partners and factories to create an effective formula that maximized value within each price point for graphic programs with multi media trims, which led to consistent successes and business growth.
